On August 12, 2011, the 26th World University Games was officially held inShenzhen, and LAX participated in the event as the "exclusive operator ofsound reinforcement system". In order to escort the event soundreinforcement operation, a team of more than 300 people have been formedto escort the event sound reintorcement, adding a wonderful stroke to the not as wonderful"Universiade.
LAX Audio engineered a custom, large-scale sound reinforcement solution, specifically tailored to the stadium’s architecture and usage requirements.
Using high-output line array systems, precision-tuned DSP processing, and custom-manufactured components, the system was optimized through extensive acoustic modeling and on-site testing. Weather-resistant enclosures and redundant signal paths ensured consistent performance under all conditions.
The result was a scalable, future-proof audio infrastructure capable of supporting sporting events, ceremonies, concerts, and international broadcasts.
The Stadium now benefits from a powerful, crystal-clear audio experience that meets international event standards. From opening ceremonies to daily operations, the system delivers consistent sound quality across every seat — enhancing audience engagement and operational confidence.
This project demonstrates LAX Audio’s ability to design, manufacture, and deploy bespoke audio solutions for the world’s most demanding large-scale venues.
