The Challenge
The three-tier curved auditorium demands a high-standard acoustic and sound reinforcement system that meets advanced national levels. To suit various performance types, the system must deliver high dynamic sound pressure level capabilities, achieve uniform sound field coverage throughout the venue, and balance speech intelligibility on stage with musical ambience. Additionally, it should minimise sound reflections from the stage, eliminate dead spots, and provide the audience with a professional, immersive listening experience.
The LAX Solution
In response to the venue’s acoustic structure and diverse performance needs, the LAX professional team at Ruifeng Technology custom-designed a dedicated sound reinforcement solution, building a high-quality professional system centred around the IC15+AR12 horizontal array system.
The Result
The project employs LAX IC15 loudspeakers paired with the AR12 horizontal array system as the core of the main sound reinforcement. This combination precisely adapts to the theatre’s three-tier seating layout, achieving uniform and full-coverage sound field distribution. With high sound pressure level and wide frequency response, this setup effectively reduces acoustic reflections and ensures clear, consistent audio for all audience members. The LAX AR12 line array loudspeaker is a professional solution designed for fixed installation in theatres and multi-purpose halls, leveraging mature line array technology to flexibly adjust array configurations based on seating distribution, offering strong adaptability.
