Ninove, Belgium – 2026 – The renowned Belgian summer outdoor music festival Festiloco 2026 has successfully concluded in Stadspark Ninove, delivering a spectacular musical feast for thousands of fans. As a popular local open-air music event, Festiloco 2026 was held in an open urban park with complex on-site conditions, bringing multiple difficulties to the on-site sound reinforcement work. First, the open and unclosed venue led to scattered sound propagation, making it difficult to form uniform sound coverage and prone to sound dead zones and volume imbalance in the audience area. Second, the venue is surrounded by residential areas, which put forward strict requirements for sound direction control to avoid noise disturbance to surrounding residents. In addition, the dense audience gathering would absorb a large amount of sound energy, especially low-frequency sound, which easily leads to insufficient bass sense and hollow on-site sound, greatly testing the stability and adaptation of the audio system.

To completely solve the above pain points and ensure a stable and high-quality sound effect for the whole festival, the LAX technical team formulated a targeted professional sound reinforcement system configuration based on the actual site environment. The overall sound system is equipped with 16 NGC12L line array speakers as the main sound reinforcement equipment for the stage. With excellent directional sound conduction and uniform coverage performance, NGC12L effectively focuses the sound field on the audience area, reduces external sound leakage, and achieves clear and balanced mid-high frequency sound presentation, covering the entire festival venue stably and efficiently.

In terms of low-frequency enhancement, the team matched 8 NGC28 dual 18-inch subwoofers. The equipment has ultra-deep low-frequency extension and strong sound pressure output, which perfectly makes up for the low-frequency loss caused by open-air environment and dense crowd absorption. It presents powerful, solid and layered bass effects on the premise of controlling low-frequency diffusion, avoiding muddy sound and excessive noise spillage, and perfectly adapting to the outdoor festival acoustic environment.
