SANYA, China – The 6th Asian Beach Games Opening Ceremony A Seaside Promise staged a grand audio-visual spectacle at Yasha Park, Sanya. As the official audio system supplier for this top international event, LAX provided a full set of professional sound reinforcement solutions with all-weather performance, ensuring stable and high-quality audio for the opening ceremony.

Facing the complex coastal open-air acoustic environment, LAX adopted its self-developed Sound Director 3D acoustic simulation software, new-generation MX2000 Gallium Nitride smart amplifiers, and a full lineup of NGC, ST, OPD series loudspeakers, creating a high-security, high-redundancy, full-coverage sound system.

Overcoming Venue Limits: High-Density Precision Coverage

Due to venue constraints, loudspeakers needed extremely close installation to audiences. Based on 1:1 3D simulation, LAX adopted a multi-point, high-density, layered coverage scheme:

l Overhead area: 10 groups of ST212 line arrays + 4 NGC28 speakers, covering middle and rear audiences.

l Front area: 12 groups of NGC10L + NGC28 compact speakers + 12 U8 fill speakers, ensuring even front coverage without sound pressure impact.

l AT12, OPD12 and U8 speakers were arranged at key positions to realize full dead-angle-free coverage.

All speakers were driven by MX2000 Gallium Nitride digital amplifiers, featuring high efficiency, low heat, and stable operation in hot and humid coastal environments.
