NANCHANG, China – At today’s opening match of the 2026 Jiangxi Provincial City Football Super League (the “Gan Super League”), the LAX professional sound reinforcement system made its official debut, providing a solid acoustic foundation for a spectacular event that blended a thousand-year cultural heritage with the passion of football.
As the core of the venue’s audio setup, LAX deployed over 300 loudspeakers to build a complete sound coverage network for this 60,000-seat Grade A stadium.
Nanchang International Sports Center is the largest and most versatile sports complex in Jiangxi Province. More than a city landmark, it has become a vibrant hub for elite competitions, cultural performances, fitness activities, and entertainment.

During the Gan Super League opening ceremony, the stadium hosted a magnificent “sports + culture + technology” showcase. Nearly 60,000 spectators recited in unison the timeless masterpiece Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng, their voices rising like waves. A drone fleet traced the outlines of Jiangxi’s cities against the night sky, while eco-friendly fireworks bloomed into a dazzling “Crown of Flames.” Every breathtaking moment demanded exceptional clarity, even coverage, and powerful energy from the live sound system—and the LAX system proved to be the unseen hero behind this sonic feast.

System Design: Precision Coverage from Simulation to Deployment
The stadium’s sound reinforcement is divided into five zones: four spectator stands (east, south, west, north) and the inner field area. The entire solution was simulated and designed using LAX’s proprietary Sound Director 3D acoustic simulation software, meeting China’s highest (Class I) venue acoustic standards.
Main PA System
A total of 152 LAX AG3212L line array speakers are deployed across the four stands: 44 each on the east and west main stands, and 32 each on the north and south stands.
The AG3212L features ultra-directive horns for crisp, transparent highs, while the low-frequency section is optimized with an advanced thermal management system for powerful, dynamic bass. The adjustable interelement angle (0 to 10 degrees) allows flexible sound field coverage, adapting seamlessly to near-field and far-field zones to ensure even distribution from the first row to the highest tier.
When the 60,000-strong crowd intoned “The setting sun rides with the solitary duck flying together; the autumn river shares the hue of the evening sky,” it was this line array system that spread their mighty, unified voices evenly across the stadium—allowing every corner to feel the resonating power of culture.

Areas beneath the stand overhangs can easily create acoustic shadows, resulting in unclear sound for some seating sections. To address this, the LAX technical team deployed 192 LAX LX268B fill speakers under the secondlevel and fourthlevel eaves—96 on each level—effectively covering the blind spots of the main PA system and achieving a uniformly distributed sound field throughout the venue.
For the playing field, 12 LAX OP2410 dedicated loudspeakers were selected and placed on the east and west sides of the pitch. The OP2410 features an external two-way design with outstanding mid-high frequency performance and exceptionally clear vocal reproduction—ideal for the demanding speech intelligibility requirements of sports stadiums.
The speakers’ streamlined enclosures are built to withstand the rigors of outdoor suspension. During the opening match, as the home team Nanchang faced the defending champions Ganzhou, the on-field speakers delivered every detail—from thunderous crowd cheers during player introductions to live match announcements—with remarkable mid-high clarity, reaching both inside and outside the stadium.

From the cultural grandeur of a 60,000-person recitation, to the aerial symphony of drones and ecofireworks, to the intense football battle on the pitch—and from large-scale line arrays to fill systems—LAX provided a complete product matrix, delivering a professional sound system with full coverage and layered acoustics for the Nanchang International Sports Center.
With mature audio technology and reliable system design, this sound reinforcement solution not only supported every creative, ambitious moment of the Gan Super League opening ceremony, but will also continue to provide trusted acoustic assurance for a wide range of high-end events and performances at this landmark Jiangxi venue—from top-tier football matches to cultural shows and beyond.
