Nou Mestalla is more than a football stadium—it’s a landmark for Valencia and a gathering place for tens of thousands of fans. When plans emerged to elevate the in-stadium experience, audio quality quickly became a top priority. LAX was selected to design and manufacture a sound system capable of delivering powerful, intelligible audio across every seat, concourse, and hospitality area.
“This project shows what’s possible when design, engineering, and manufacturing work as one. LAX’s technical depth and stadium expertise made it possible to create an audio experience that truly matches the scale of Nou Mestalla.”

Partnering with MaxAmaze for the digital and systems integration layer, the project set out to redefine how fans experience matchdays, events, and announcements at scale.

Designing audio for a stadium like Nou Mestalla comes with unique challenges: long throw distances, open-air acoustics, crowd noise, and strict reliability requirements. LAX’s R&D and engineering teams approached the project with a custom-first mindset.
Using advanced acoustic modeling and on-site simulations, LAX developed a system architecture that ensures:
Every component was engineered to perform consistently, whether the stadium is hosting a sold-out derby or a smaller-scale event.
At the core of the project was LAX’s in-house manufacturing facility and dedicated sound R&D team. Rather than relying on off-the-shelf solutions, LAX developed custom loudspeaker configurations and system tuning tailored specifically to Nou Mestalla’s geometry and materials.
This approach allowed the system to meet exact performance requirements while remaining future-ready—capable of adapting to new content formats, control systems, and evolving stadium needs.
